Trump, While Sitting In Front Of The Lincoln Memorial, Says He’s Been Treated Worse Than Lincoln

You've got to be kidding me.

Today, in lieu of his typical Coronavirus Task Force briefing that all but got the boot after he suggested that Americans could inject disinfectant and UV light to combat the virus that’s literally killing us by the thousands, Donald Trump held a Fox News town hall while awkwardly sitting in front of the Lincoln Memorial.

But let me just go ahead and say — it did not go better than the daily pressers did.

This time, instead of taking questions from the media literally on World Press Freedom Day, Trump appeared to think he’d be safer if he did a little Q&A with questions that were submitted by his adoring, Fox News viewing fans who tuned in on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

However, he managed to make just as big an ass out himself through the questions from his viewers as he did the questions from the White House press pool.

During this evening’s town hall, which took place with Trump sitting at the feet of the Lincoln Memorial, a question from a viewer ended up prompting one of the most pathetic answers out of Donald to date.

“Should you change your tone at the WH briefings?” the president was asked.

And instead of saying, “Yeah, I’m an idiot and I need to just keep my trap shut” or even just giving some sort of flippant non-answer, Trump went off on a tangent for the ages where he had the audacity to claim that he’s been treated worse than Abraham Lincoln as president of the United States.

Trump claimed that he is regularly “greeted with a hostile press the likes of which no president has even seen. The closest would be that gentleman right there,” as he pointed at the Lincoln Memorial. “I believe I am treated worse… They come at me with questions that are disgraceful.”

Unless he has an assassination penciled into his upcoming schedule, I think that’s probably the biggest crock of nonsense I’ve heard out of him … at least this year.

Was the crisis in Afghanistan surrounding the pull out of American Troops Biden's fault or Trump's fault?
