Donald Trump is all about bashing and bullying anyone that doesn’t bow down and kiss his bone-spur-riddled feet — even going so far as to call for the firing of every news reporter and journalist that reported on the Mueller investigation or spoke badly of him in general.
That’s why it’s extra rich (and Trump is guaranteed to be big mad when he finds out) that Pulitzer Prizes were awarded to multiple newspapers today for their investigative work into Donald Trump.
A Pulitzer for explanatory reporting was awarded to reporters at the New York Times for taking a deep dive into Trump’s finances, which uncovered the fact that he and his family engage in tax dodging. The investigation revealed that Trump’s parents allegedly only paid $52.5 million in taxes, a measly 5 percent, after transferring more than $1 billion to their children.
In addition to the prize won by the Times, the Wall Street Journal also won a Pulitzer for national reporting after revealing that Trump was sending hush money to payments to women he’d had previous affairs with in the waning days of his 2016 presidential campaign. According to WSJ reporting, Donald was sending regular payments to adult-film actress Stormy Daniels as well as Playboy model Karen McDougal in an attempt to prevent them from talking during his campaign — an allegation that Trump’s former fixer Michael Cohen verified when he testified that Trump directed him to make the payments to the women.

Other newspapers were awarded the Pulitzer Prize today as well, including the Pittsburg Post-Gazette in the breaking news coverage for their reporting on the Tree Of Life synagogue shooting, and the South Florida Sun-Sentinel who won the public service category for their reporting on the shooting that took place at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL.
It goes without saying that every single one of these publications deserves the award and as well as the recognition they’re getting today. Let’s just hope their praises outshine the Twitter fit that is about to ensure from our crybaby president.
