I feel a tweetstorm coming.

Donald Trump has been trying to cling to power by throwing out baseless claims of widespread voter fraud without providing a shred of evidence to back that up. So, the president isn’t going to be pleased that his bootlicking lapdog, Attorney General Bill Barr, just contradicted him by saying there is no evidence of voter fraud that would change the presidential election results, according to the Associated Press.

Barr told the Associated Press that U.S. attorneys and FBI agents have been working to follow up on specific complaints and information they’ve received. Still, they’ve uncovered no evidence that would change the outcome of the presidential election. In recent days, Trump accused the FBI and Department of Justice of helping to rig the election that wasn’t rigged, so we’re sure Barr will now be on the receiving end of the president’s wrath.

“To date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have affected a different outcome in the election,” Barr told the AP.

But, Barr did Trump’s bidding in November:

Last month, Barr issued a directive to U.S. attorneys across the country allowing them to pursue any “substantial allegations” of voting irregularities, if they existed, before the 2020 presidential election was certified, despite no evidence at that time of widespread fraud. That memorandum gave prosecutors the ability to go around longstanding Justice Department policy that normally would prohibit such overt actions before the election was certified. Soon after it was issued, the department’s top elections crime official announced he would step aside from that position because of the memo.

Fox News reported Barr’s statement, so Trump will definitely continue his grudge with his one-time favorite network:

Welp!:

Trump continued today to tweet out fake news over the election results, ending up with his tweets being labeled by the behemoth social site.  Trump is afraid to face possible charges after leaving office, and he has a mountain of debt to address at the start of the year. His status as president will no longer protect him from his debts.
