Trump’s Former Buddy Says He May Run in 2024 If Trump Does: “I’ll Beat His A*s”

OUCH!

Just recently, we reported that Donald Trump’s own former vice president, Mike Pence, is seemingly determined to toss his hat in the presidential ring in the upcoming 2024 election, and he doesn’t really seem to care what his former boss thinks about it, or if he’ll be stuck running against him.

And now, a new report from The Daily News has just revealed that another former buddy of the ex-president is contemplating his own run against the one-term, twice-impeached former guy — something Trump won’t be happy about, at all — and he’s fully convinced that he’ll “beat his ass” if it comes down to it.

Speaking with his co-host Robin Quivers on his iconic Sirius XM radio show, none other than Howard Stern announced that it may very well be his “civic duty” to run against his old friend Donald Trump in the next presidential election, should Trump officially decide to take another stab at the White House.

“If Trump decides to run again, you have to run against him,” long-term co-host Quivers said to Stern on the radio show.

“I know,” Stern responded, “I’ll beat his ass.”

“We can’t leave it to the Democrats,” Quivers stated.

Stern even went so far as to give a hilarious play-by-play of how he would handle debates against his former pal. The radio host proceeded to play recordings of Trump putting the squeeze on Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, pressuring the state official to “find” enough votes to overturn the election out of Biden’s favor.

“I would just sit there and play that fucking clip of him trying to fix the election over and over again,” Stern said. “There’s no way I’d lose.”

So far, we’re not really clear if Howard Stern was actually serious about a potential 2024 presidential run — audio that was recently published by Mediaite seems to carry a joking tone much more so than a serious consideration. However, should Stern truly give the presidency a shot, it wouldn’t be the radio host’s first tango with politics. Stern briefly ran for governor of New York in the early 1990s, but quickly dropped out of the race over financial disclosure rules.

Stern and Trump were once pretty close friends, the infamous “grab them by the p*ssy” statement actually came in a conversation with Stern. However, their friendship rapidly dissolved when Donald ran for president and Stern became a staunch critic of his former pal.
