Trump’s Former Personal Attorney Believes Ex-President Will “Definitely” Be Indicted “Before Summer’s End”

I hope he's right.

Earlier, we reported on a downright hilarious image shared by Donald Trump’s former personal attorney and self-described “fixer,” Michael Cohen, of the ex-president behind bars, amid the announcement that the New York Attorney General Letitia James has officially escalated her investigation into the Trump Organization to a criminal level.

But as it turns out, that belly laugh-inducing image wasn’t the only thing Cohen had to say.

Cohen spoke with the New York Daily News today and theorized that the potential for Donald Trump to spend some significant time in a jail cell is far higher after this newest development.

“Now that you see the New York District Attorney and the Attorney General’s offices working in concert, I do believe that indictments will be issued shortly, and definitely before summer’s end,” Trump’s old personal attorney told the New York Daily News today.

Of course, Trump himself has already responded to this development in the case against him and, as expected, he’s far less than happy, writing in a statement on his new blog-like website:

The Attorney General of New York literally campaigned on prosecuting Donald Trump even before she knew anything about me. She said that if elected, she would use her office to look into ‘every aspect’ of my real estate dealings.

Likewise, the District Attorney’s office has been going after me for years based on a lying, discredited low life, who was not listened to or given credibility by other prosecutorial offices, and sentenced to 3 years in prison for lying and other events unrelated to me.”

He can call it a “with hunt” all he likes, but if you ask me or Michael Cohen, Donald Trump’s days as a free American citizen are seriously numbered.
