Donald Trump made the highly dubious claim on Tuesday that “George Washington would have had a hard time beating me before the plague came in” even though his poll numbers have been lagging behind presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden. Trump, though, added, “We’re doing very well. I don’t know if you’ve seen, the polls have been going up like a rocket ship.” That, of course, is not the case. And to further prove that, Eric was campaigning for his Daddy-president with top Florida Republicans in Kissimmee.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, Eric was joined by former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi and Lt. Gov. Jeanette Nuñez outside the Osceola GOP headquarters as the first stop on a trip that will take the campaign bus to several other areas in the Sunshine State. Bondi is very swampy, by the way.
The outdoor event, according to the news outlet, drew a little more than 100 people to a parking lot on the south side of U.S. Highway 192. The parking lot is just across the from the Osceola Heritage Park, where Trump held one of his large indoor rallies four years ago to this week.
“I’m going to go ahead and take my mask off, and it’s going to be easier,” Osceola GOP chair Mark Cross said to the attendees who were mostly not wearing protective face masks amid the coronavirus pandemic.

At the event, Eric lashed out at the Democratic party, calling them “radical and evil” and “incompetent leftist lunatics.”
“These people,” he said, “these radical leftists are truly a challenge to who we are as a society.”
It sure sounds like the event was a dud.
Just a few dozen showed up for a Trump campaign rally in the Orlando area featuring Eric Trump.

And here’s a video of the Red Hats at the event:
There were about 100 or so people at the Eric Trump bus tour event in Kissimmee. This was a few minutes before the event began, only a few more people straggled in here and there afterward pic.twitter.com/8DDBc2yPZy

Trump, not Biden, has a campaign that’s lacking enthusiasm. We’re fired up and ready to go with Biden/Harris. Still, Trump’s dwindling base is dedicated.
“I loved it,” said Trump supporter Jose Martinez. “It was reassuring. You know, great things are coming. That’s what I’m looking for.”
Lol, OK.
