The Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee raised over two hundred million dollars after the president continued to peddle false claims about the debunked conspiracy theory of widespread voter fraud. Despite a massive losing streak at the courts, Donald Trump has refused to concede that he has lost to President-elect Joe Biden. And it’s simply another grift because at least half the money Trump raised designed to “defend the integrity” of the election will go to paying off the campaign’s debts.
So, it’s interesting that when Trump leaves the White House on Jan. 20, he will likely head to his Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida, People magazine reports. It’s almost as if Trump knows he lost to Biden.
According to the report, Melania Trump has been looking at schools in the area for the couple’s 14-year-old son Barron to attend once the family has left the White House.
“They have looked all over Palm Beach County and neighboring Broward County for just the right place,” a source close to the outgoing first lady said.

“There are several options, and they will decide soon,” the source added.
“The White House is, of course, staying mum about his post-presidency plans, at least publicly, while he continues to make baseless allegations of fraud in the election he lost,” People reports. “Privately, however, aides acknowledge they’re all on their way out.”
“And the staff at Mar-a-Lago have been preparing the way, including renovating Trump’s 2,000-square-foot residence at the club, which he purchased in the ’80s,” the report continues.
The outgoing president’s apartment at Mar-a-Lago “will be expanded and spruced up,” a source close to Trump told the magazine.
“They are definitely renovating his apartment within the Mar-a-Lago Club to make it larger, more modern, and comfortable for his use,” this source says. (Sources have told PEOPLE he and the first lady have separate bedrooms in their Mar-a-Lago lodgings.)
“Melania is checking out a good Florida school for Barron,” another source told the magazine.
Well now. That certainly sounds as if Trump knows that he lost the election and plans to vacate the White House. That’s presumably after he finishes ripping our democracy to shreds as he burns down everything in his path before January 20th. The report is from December 3rd, so Trump has been making plans to move while asking for donations.
