The situation between ex-President Donald Trump and his former Vice President Mike Pence just keeps getting more and more interesting with each passing moment.

It seems the trouble between the former “dynamic duo” has gone from personal beef among friends to a much more public battle between two politicians.

As we’re all well aware, the relationship between Donald Trump and his former right-hand man began to crumble, in a somewhat public way given their positions, after Pence blatantly refused his boss’ plan to use Pence as a last-ditch effort to overthrow the results of the 2020 presidential election that Trump clearly and fairly lost to Joe Biden.

Ever since that fateful January day, when Trump’s own supporters stormed the nation’s Capitol where Pence and the rest of Congress were certifying the Electoral College votes in Joe Biden’s favor — as Donald’s people marched to “hang” Mike Pence — the relationship between the two has steadily devolved.

Trump, of course, hasn’t veered away from his traditional habit of viciously attacking his former right-hand man in a very public manner, via numerous “official statements” he pumps out on Twitter through his spokeswoman, Liz Harrington. But Pence, on the other hand, has seemingly taken a more methodical approach to his revenge against Trump — such as making his own presidential aspirations well-known, backing GOP candidates that Donald is clearly against, and publicly disagreeing with Trump’s “Big Lie.”

But Pence, along with his people, may be going even a step further in their vendetta against the ex-president, who refused to defend him against rapid supporters on January 6th.

We recently reported that some of Pence’s people may be gearing up to soon spill the tea on the former president’s involvement in the infamous Capitol riot to the January 6th House Select Committee and now it seems that Pence’s own Chief of Staff is doing just that, according to recent reporting from CNN.

“Marc Short, the former chief of staff to Vice President Mike Pence, is cooperating with the January 6 committee, a significant development that will give investigators insight from one of the highest-ranking Trump officials, according to three sources with knowledge of the committee’s activities,” the report reads.

“Short remains one of Pence’s closest advisers and is a firsthand witness to many critical events the committee is examining, including what happened to Pence at the Capitol on January 6 and how former President Donald Trump pressured the former vice president not to certify the presidential election that day.”

It’s clear as crystal at this point that the relationship between Trump and Pence is officially no longer salvageable. While this certainly doesn’t make Pence a good person or politician, we can only hope that it at least leads to some real justice and accountability for the things Donald Trump and his people have done.
