Donald Trump’s entire world just came crashing down on his head.
A lot of Cassidy Hutchinson’s explosive surprise testimony was in connection to Trump White House counsel Pat Cipollone. Now, according to bombshell new reporting from Mediaite and CNN, the January 6th House Select Committee is soon to hear from Mr. Cipollone himself, in under oath testimony he is scheduled to deliver before the panel on Friday.
The thundering development was first reported on by The New York Times’s Maggie Haberman and Luke Broadwater on Wednesday, following the explosive news that Cipollone had been subpoenaed by the House Committee after blatantly refusing to cooperate with the panel that’s investigating the infamous January 6th attack, and the ex-president’s concerted role in inciting the violence.
The Times cited a person familiar with the discussions,” reporting “Cipollone will sit for a videotaped, transcribed interview,” but “is not expected to testify publicly.”

A spokesperson for the Committee declined to comment on the matter to the publication.
Committee Vice-Chair Liz Cheney has repeatedly called on Pat Cipollone to testify before the panel regarding his knowledge and experiences related to January 6th, 2021, given his consistently close proximity to Donald Trump.
Mediaite reports on the matter, “It was revealed during the committee hearings that Cipollone sought to dissuade Trump from appointing Justice Department official and election denier Jeffrey Clark to be acting Attorney General, warning of mass resignations were he to do so. He also warned against marching to the Capitol on Jan. 6, according to testimony by Cassidy Hutchinson, a former senior aide to former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.”
Cipollone is scheduled to deliver a transcribed interview before the January 6th House Select Committee on Friday of this week.
