Twitter Explodes After Melania Reportedly Copied Part Of Her Statement On The Capitol Mayhem From Her RNC Speech Last Year

Pathetic.

Parts of Melania Trump’s speech in 2016 were almost identical to a speech given by Michelle Obama in 2008. Still, this time, the outgoing first lady was caught copying at least one portion of her own Republican National Convention speech to use for a statement she released today about the Capitol Hill riots that were incited by her husband.

CNN correspondent Kate Bennett took to Twitter to show that Melania Trump had copied at least one section of her 2020 RNC speech statement to use in today’s statement. And really, I guess that means she really doesn’t care, does she? Nothing about the Trumps is genuine or from the heart.

Twitter users pounced.

In Melania’s statement today, following the death, destruction, and chaos her husband incited, she appeared to claim that she’s a victim. “I find it shameful that surrounding these tragic events there has been salacious gossip, unwarranted personal attacks, and false misleading accusations on me – from people who are looking to be relevant and have an agenda. This time is solely about healing our country and its citizens. It should not be used for personal gain.” Of course, she did.

Just toss all of your 5-inch heels in their felt bags and go, lady.
