You are done, Mr. Trump. It's over.

Twitter on Wednesday evening did something the behemoth social site should have done ages ago and removed three tweets from outgoing President Donald Trump in which he repeated false claims of widespread voter fraud that doesn’t exist. Trump fans stormed the U.S. Capitol, and physically confronted police officers. Violence erupted in the nation’s capital, with Trump protesters taking to the streets to overturn the presidential election that resulted in Joe Biden’s victory. Trump has been encouraging violence, and oh boy, he certainly was successful.

Twitter took things a step further and locked down the president’s account for 12 hours, then warned that any “future violations of the Twitter Rules, including our Civic Integrity or Violent Threats policies, will result in permanent suspension of the @realDonaldTrump.”

Just ban him already. Our narcissistic president is not going to stop this sort of behavior.

Twitter users had a better suggestion for the social site.

Facebook took similar action and removed Trump’s appalling video.

Well, it’s a bit late since there are only two weeks left to Trump’s time in office, but we’ll take it. Trump will cause more damage on his way out if our elected officials don’t take immediate action.
