It seems like ever since Meghan Markle made allegations of racist treatment by the British royal family, that prompted a firestorm of attention from conservatives, including from former President Donald Trump and his son, Don Jr. After Meghan and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey when they revealed that the couple faced “an overwhelming amount of negative press” in recent years that was “incredibly damaging” to their mental health, Donald Trump Jr. weighed in to defend the royal family. Junior blamed Meghan’s “personality” and said, “she’s no angel.”
Even Fox News’s Sean Hannity criticized the couple on his show because nothing else was going on in the world. At one point, the twice-impeached one-term president previously said that he hopes Meghan runs for president in 2024 because he would have “an even stronger feeling toward running.” And now, he’s lashing out at her again, according to the Daily Mail.
Trump has launched what the outlet calls “an astonishing barrage of criticism at Meghan Markle” to accuse her of “disrespecting the Queen” and “horribly” manipulating Prince Harry during an interview on UK television.
Trump claims the actions of both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in recent years have “hurt” the monarch.

Trump admitted to former Ukip leader Nigel Farage that he has never been a “fan” of Meghan, who he believes has used Prince Harry, and we’re not sure how the former president arrived at that conclusion.
“I think Harry’s been used and been used terribly,” Trump insisted. “I think it’s ruined his relationship with his family, and it hurts the Queen.”
“I think she’s been very disrespectful to the Queen, who’s such a great woman, such a great person, a historic person,” he continued. “I think she’s very disrespectful to the Royal Family and most importantly to the Queen.”
Trump claimed that Meghan was “very inappropriate” when Farage asked about claims that she used her royal title to meddle in US politics by writing on the Sussexes’ headed paper to lobby Congress members on such issues as paternity leave, according to the outlet. “She is trying to do things that I think are very inappropriate,” he said.
Maternity leave is a popular idea. It’s not known who Meghan voted for in 2020, but I’d wager that she didn’t vote for Donald Trump, and he’s retaliating. Maybe Trump’s mad because Meghan and Harry in 2020 urged Americans to “reject hate speech, misinformation and online negativity.” Trump is out of a job, so maybe he should consider being a gossip columnist.
