Since originally reporting on this matter, NBC News has released a report claiming that Trump and his people have released additional audio clips that appear to refute the original reporting from the New York Post that he angrily stormed out of the interview with Piers Morgan.
“An audio recording obtained by NBC News appears to show that former President Donald Trump’s highly publicized interview with Piers Morgan did not end with Trump storming off the set, as edited promotional video clips suggest,” NBC reports. “Instead, according to the recording, which was provided by Trump’s spokesman, the two men thanked each other and laughed at the conclusion of the interview for Talk TV, a subsidiary of Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp.”
Other portions of the interview between Trump and Morgan appear to have been taken out of context for the sole purpose of a promotional clip. To our knowledge, the interview was completed and the men ended the meeting on good terms.

According to a new report from the New York Post, former Conservative pals, ex-President Donald Trump and controversial TV personality Piers Morgan, had a pretty public friendship breakup during a recent sit-down interview, when Morgan flat-out told the former guy that the 2020 presidential election wasn’t stolen from him like he claims, and Trump proceeded to fly off the handle.
The NY Post writes that Trump sat down for the interview with his one-time supporter, that’s set to air next week, only for Piers Morgan to tell the disgraced, one-term, twice-impeached ex-president that 2020 was “a free and fair election” and that “you lost.”
“Only a fool would think that,” the report claims Trump angrily shot back, prompting Morgan to ask, “You think I’m a fool?”
“I do now, yeah,” Trump allegedly fumed.
Morgan, a highly controversial Conservative and overall rude pain in the rear himself, went on to rub salt in the wound when he proceeded to inform Donald Trump that he still has yet to produce a single piece of “hard evidence” to back up his stolen election and widespread voter fraud claims.
“I don’t think you’re real!” Trump bizarrely yelled in response before he called Piers “very dishonest.”
Morgan went on to tell the former president that he blames Trump for the violent, deadly January 6th Capitol attack, because Donald refused to accept his loss and concede the election to the rightful winner, Joe Biden, and instead continued to heavily peddle his unfounded conspiracy theories and lies.
“Then you’re a fool!” Trump raged. “And you haven’t studied!”
At that point, Donald Trump reportedly got up and stormed away from the interview, telling the film crew to turn off the cameras and stop filming him.
