They aren't coping very well.

On January 6th, after a mob of Trump supporters stormed the Capitol, then-vice president Mike Pence stood in a Senate Chamber and certified the results of the 2020 Electoral College vote, confirming President-elect Joe Biden’s win. Former President Donald Trump whipped the mob into a frenzy just hours earlier, promising his supporters that he would march with them to the Capitol. But, unsurprisingly, Trump did not march with them. The mob then chanted out, “Hang Mike Pence!” in the corridors because he performed his role as Senate president, as detailed by the 12th Amendment.

Trump falsely claimed in a tweet that Pence could overturn the election results. That is false. I’m not too fond of defending Pence, but he performed his Constitutional duty, and for that, Trump supporters are angry. They can’t seem to accept that Trump — the least popular president in the history of polling — lost to Joe Biden in both the electoral and popular vote.

On Friday, Pence was heckled at the Faith and Freedom Coalition summit, with some attendees in the crowd chanting “traitor!” And according to CNN, the hecklers were wearing MAGA hats.

Watch:

Twitter users piled in.

Well, I guess that’s better than Trump supporters erecting a gallows outside then chanting, “Hang Mike Pence!” Still, they aren’t coping well with the twice-impeached one-term president’s election loss over seven months ago.

Was the crisis in Afghanistan surrounding the pull out of American Troops Biden's fault or Trump's fault?
