Donald Trump’s first day of the NATO summit in London was more like a circus with the US “president” flinging poo at allies and, of course, Democrats. Trump tends to make world events all about him. Trump was even fact-checked by Fox News, not once, but twice. Every word he uttered out of his mouth was as cringe-inducing as his wife’s outfit in which she appeared to be dressed as Big Bird. Even Prime Minister Boris Johnson, the UK’s version of Trump, was “so keen not to be photographed with the US president that he did not even greet him at the door when he and wife Melania arrived” at 10 Downing Street on Tuesday night.
Without mentioning Trump by name, world leaders attending the summit were caught on camera apparently discussing our totally stable genius “president.” Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau can be seen joking with Johnson and French President Emmanuel Macron about Trump’s lengthy press conferences at a Buckingham Palace reception on Tuesday.

“Is that why you were late?” Johnson can be heard asking. “He was late because he takes a 40-minute press conference off the top,” Trudeau says. “You just watched his team’s jaws drop to the floor,” Trudeau says later on in the clip.
This is hugely embarrassing as Trump enters his second day of the summit. Trump supporters wanted an unconventional “president” and that’s exactly what they got. The world is laughing at our cartoonish and crass “president” who we’ve sent over to represent the most powerful country in the world. The buffoonish former reality show star doesn’t understand protocol or even basic widely known courtesies that other countries practice.
The lengthy presser that the world leaders were discussing was a shitshow. Trump kicked off the NATO summit by unleashing a rant about French President Emmanuel Macron just hours before the two leaders were slated to meet.
America, we are now a laughingstock on the world stage.
