Princess Anne and the Queen were caught on video having a bit of a disagreement right in front of Donald Trump and his wife Melania at a reception held at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday night. Apparently, Princess Anne wasn’t too keen on greeting the U.S. “president” and responded to the Queen with a shrug as she stood near the opening of the room. But first, there are some fun facts about Princess Anne that show what a badass she is. The senior royal family member famously turned down Queen Elizabeth’s offer to make her daughter a princess when she was born. She literally did not give a shit over her children having titles.
Also, in the seventies, an armed man tried to kidnap the Princess while she was with her husband Mark Phillips in a car as the couple returned from a charity event. The man fired off shots, then ordered Princess Anne out of her vehicle. Her response: “Not bloody likely!” and she reportedly briefly considered hitting the armed man.
So, she’s not your typical royal family member. She’s a motherfucking badass woman. Do not mess with her. Princess Anne is all of us as she’s seen on video refusing to greet our clownish “president.” The video shows the defiant moment with the Queen, Prince Charles, and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, greeting America’s “president” and the Third Lady.
After the Queen gestures to her daughter to come and greet Donnie and Melanie, Princess Anne responds with a shrug and one that might be remembered in history books — or end up in a segment on Saturday Night Live.

Princess Anne had no fucks to give and refused to take part in pretending to welcome our crass and narcissistic “president.” Anne (I get to call her Anne now because I want her to be my BFF) has cemented her place as the hardest-working member of the royal family, and one that doesn’t take shit from anyone, apparently.
