White House trade adviser Peter Navarro appeared on Fox Business with host Maria Bartiromo and didn’t seem to be taking Donald Trump’s second impeachment very well. Navarro seemed to be having quite a meltdown, and at one point, he said, “Stop messing around with the greatest president in history!” Well, great presidents don’t incite violent insurrections at a co-equal branch of government. Great presidents don’t lie to the American people, insisting that he won the election that he clearly lost in a landslide to Joe Biden in both the popular and electoral vote.
“What happened yesterday was a travesty,” Navarro said. “The Democratic Party did violence to this country by attacking a president who I believe was legally elected on Nov. 3. If the election was held today, he’d be elected again. And if he runs in 2024, he will be elected then.”
“I’ve never been more pissed off in my life,” he continued. “And I think there are 74 million Americans who voted for President Trump, who feel exactly the same way. So I would say to these people on Capitol Hill, knock it off. Stop this. Let the man leave peacefully with his dignity.”
“The people of this country — the Trump people — are not going to stand for this,” he said later in the interview. “And if Pelosi and Schiff and Swalwell — my God. Eric Swalwell should never darken the doorway of Capitol Hill. I mean, he slept his way up the coast in California with a Chinese spy, and as she was sleeping with him, she was sleeping with mayors from north to south. I mean, these people disgust me.”
“Stop messing around with the greatest president in history!” Navarro added, referring to the man that hounded former President Barack Obama for years.
Bartiromo said that social media sites ban people from discussing voter fraud, but that’s not the case. Trump was deplatformed for continuing to lie about widespread voter fraud that doesn’t exist. Trump’s months-long lies led to the violent insurrection that stunned the world. Trump will go down as the most dangerous president in US history. The outgoing president even repeatedly lied to the American people about the coronavirus — what a disgrace.
