White House Staffers Are Reportedly Appalled Over Trump’s “Insane” Return From Walter Reed: “This Place Is A Cesspool”

What a nightmare.

Donald Trump left Walter Reed Medical Center and returned to the White House, then proceeded to take part in a photo-op, and the first thing the president did was to take his protective face mask off. Trump is still downplaying the coronavirus even though he’s still trying to recover from the disease. During the president’s photo-op, he was seen gasping for air while trying to play the strongman. Staffers at the White House aren’t too pleased with Trump returning while still possibly infected with COVID-19.

White House officials that spoke with Axios displayed disbelief and dismay over Trump’s decision.

“It’s insane that he would return to the White House and jeopardize his staff’s health when we are still learning of new cases among senior staff,” one White House source told the news outlet. “This place is a cesspool.”

“He was so concerned with preventing embarrassing stories that he exposed thousands of his own staff and supporters to a deadly virus,” the source continued. “He has kept us in the dark, and now our spouses and kids have to pay the price. It’s just selfish.”

Trump could care less about anyone except for Trump.

“The White House residence staff members are largely Black and Latino, and often elderly, according to Kate Anderson Brower, who compiled a trove of interviews with former staffers for her book ”The Residence,'” the WashPost reports. There are about 90 full-time ushers, butlers, housekeepers, valets, florists, engineers, and cooks.

I dropped off my ballot for the guy that’s not trying to kill us all. Two housekeepers that work at the White House residence have reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 and were asked to use “discretion” about discussing their diagnosis as the number of White House staffers with the virus continues to grow, Forbes reports.

At least thirteen people, according to CNN, in Trump’s family, the US government, and Trump’s circle of advisers, and recent contacts have recently tested positive for the coronavirus. It’s no wonder White House staffers are upset that the president of the United States — a man tasked with keeping us all safe — is continuing to spread the disease he failed to act promptly on.
