Former President Donald Trump arrived back in his old home state of New York late last night for the very first time since his presidency came to a close several weeks ago — to the rambunctious greeting of one single lone supporter outside his Manhattan Trump Tower hotel.

As we fully expected, the crowd that showed up to all but boo him out of town was far larger than the one individual who showed up to greet him.

As I’m sure you know, Donald Trump doesn’t have a whole lot of love left in his old stomping ground — going so far as to make a public scene out of officially changing his permanent place of residence to his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida after a long, drawn-out feud with the state’s governor, Andrew Cuomo, back in 2019. Frankly, it was certainly no skin off the behinds of the majority of native New Yorkers, who were all too happy to bid him good riddance. And not it looks as though no one has had a sudden change of heart regarding the former president since his time in the White House concluded.

Within less than a day after the former president arrived back in Manhattan, amid multiple investigations against him hailing from the state, the outside of his Trump Tower hotel was hopping with anti-Trump protests, demanding that the corrupt former president be arrested, according to a report from The Independent.

Outside of the Manhattan 5th Avenue skyscraper where Donald has a penthouse apartment, protesters sported signs reading “Arrest Trump,” “Indict Trump,” and “Florida Man Go Home.”

Trump has been laying relatively low at his Mar-a-Lago resort in his new “home state” of Florida since losing the election and leaving the White House but lived in the Manhattan penthouse up until his 2017 inauguration and was born and raised in the Queens borough of New York.

Donald’s first visit to his old home state comes amid an investigation against him by both Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance (who just recently acquired a treasure trove of the former president’s financial documents, including his coveted tax returns) as well as state District Attorney Letitia James.
