Let’s just be honest — life is hard these days. We’re still neck-deep in a pandemic that half the country continues to refuse to take seriously, despite the fact that it’s still spreading like wildfire, with a new variant around every corner, and people continue to die at alarming rates. The entire country is still reeling from the 4 long, hard, tumultuous years of the Trump administration, as President Biden tries desperately to right all of his predecessor’s numerous wrongs and get this county back on some semblance of the correct path. Despite Donald Trump finally being out of office, Americans are still left dealing with the massive, dark stain he left on this once great nation as his base struggles to adjust to a White House that doesn’t proudly support racism, and treason, and an autocratic government. Gas is high and groceries are higher and shelves are bare and it’s hard to make the rent these days.

More often than not, it gets difficult to see any good in things anymore. It gets harder and harder to find things that fill you with hope or joy or optimism. So, oftentimes, we just have to take whatever laughs and chuckles and enjoyment we can get, wherever we can get it, even if it’s in a form that some would call a “cheap” laugh.

Today, we found just that at the expense of Republican Florida Senator Rick Scott.

In a video clip that’s now making all kinds of waves on social media, the GOP stooge can be seen getting his ass verbally handed to him by a woman inside a Starbucks, as she blatantly called the Republican lawmaker out right to his face for his complete and utter disregard for the American people.

Don’t take my word for it, folks. See for yourself:

Call it a “cheap” laugh if you want to. Does it really get much better than watching Rick Scott stand there with an awkward, stupid look on his face while he gets yelled down by a powerful, angry woman? Yea, we didn’t think so either.

And Twitter agrees:

I don’t know about you — But that made my night.
