I feel a Twitter-tantrum coming.

Sometimes history repeats itself. One of Donald Trump’s accusers wants a sample of the “president’s” DNA to compare it to genetic material on a dress she says she wore during when the former reality show star allegedly raped her. If this sounds familiar, Monica Lewinsky was in possession of a blue dress that still bore the semen stain that resulted from her administering oral sex to President Clinton. Lewinsky famously turned the dress over to Kenneth Starr’s investigators; then a blood sample was taken from Clinton. The FBI reported its conclusion that Clinton was indeed the source of the semen on the dress. Ultimately, Clinton was impeached for lying to Congress about a consensual blowjob.

Trump, though, has had numerous accusers, but one of them, columnist E. Jean Carroll, believes she has the receipts.

Carroll’s lawyers served notice to a Trump attorney on Thursday for the “president” to submit a sample on March 2nd in Washington for “analysis and comparison against unidentified male DNA present on the dress,” the Associated Press reports.

Carroll, who accused Trump of raping her in a department store dressing room in the 1990s, filed a defamation suit against the “president” in November after Trump accused her of “totally lying” and claimed he had never met her before — even though there is a photo of them together.

Her attorney, Roberta Kaplan, took steps to have the dress tested that resulted in a DNA sample found on the sleeves that was a mix of at least four people, with at least one of them being male. According to the AP, several other people have been and eliminated as possible contributors.

Carroll noted in an article that Trump reached under her dress, pulled down her tights, and raped her as she tried to fight him off. She eventually got out of the room and fled.

“The Donna Karan coatdress still hangs on the back of my closet door, unworn and unlaundered since that evening,” she wrote.

If Trump has never met his accuser before, surely he will hand over his DNA sample to clear himself, but the “president” tends to stall cases in court.
