Yale Psychiatrist Claimed Pelosi Has The Right To Submit Trump To An “Involuntary” Psych Evaluation

Trump is going to hate this.

You don’t have to be a professional in the field to see that Donald Trump’s mental health is declining, but if you need confirmation of that, Yale psychologist Bandy X. Lee is once again giving credence to that assessment. Lee has previously called for a thorough neuropsychiatric evaluation of Donald Trump and she has called him out on Twitter, too.

Lee, who serves as president of the World Mental Health Organization, also authored the book The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump: 27 Psychiatrists and Mental Health Experts Assess a President and she uses her Twitter account to translate the “president’s” crazy-time tweets. Lee also sounded the alarm over Trump’s bizarre 6-page letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Lee spoke to Salon in an interview to say that Pelosi could submit Trump to an involuntary evaluation.

“As a coworker, she has the right to have him submit to an involuntary evaluation, but she has not,” Lee said. “Anyone can call 911 to report someone who seems dangerous, and family members are the most typical ones to do so. But so can coworkers, and even passersby on the street. The law dictates who can determine right to treatment, or civil commitment, and in all 50 U.S. states this includes a psychiatrist.”

“The advantage of a coworker starting this process is that a court can mandate a mental capacity evaluation before the dangerous person returns to work,” Lee continued. “The committing physician is preferably the patient’s treater, but does not have to be.”

Lee said that Pelosi keeping the articles of impeachment from the Senate might make Trump even more dangerous, and indeed, we’ve all witnessed the “president” losing all of his shit on Twitter and in interviews over his impeachment.

“I am beginning to believe that a mental health hold, which we have tried to avoid, will become inevitable,” Lee said.

Trump is the king of projection. The former reality show star projects at an IMAX level — and Lee agrees.

Projection is when you displace undesirable traits of yourself you are trying to deny onto others. Most people will see that he is projecting his own unacceptable thoughts and motives onto Pelosi.

Trump has been rage-tweeting about Pelosi for days now on his Twitter timeline just after he delivered a Christmas message to call for “understanding and respect.”

Trump recently changed his residency from New York to Florida, a state that has the Baker Act, which allows for involuntary examination of an individual who shows signs of mental illness. A person can go through an accidental overdose in Florida and they will lock that person’s ass up on a mental ward for three days in case it was a suicide attempt. Trump isn’t so much a danger to himself, though, but he is a danger to the world now that he’s been elevated to the highest seat in the land.
