Lauren Boebert just can’t escape the scandals of her own making these days… And she’s really upset about it.
The controversial Colorado Republican House Rep. has been no stranger to her fair share of scandals, disgraces, and public humiliation over the last few months — ranging from her nasty, highly publicized divorce, to her son’s teen pregnancy and subsequent crime spree, to her struggles to stay in the good graces of her own voters as the election closes in. But, perhaps the most infamous of all the recent Boebert Scandals was the Beetlejuice theater fiasco.
In case you somehow forgot, or have been living under a rock recently, the GOP congresswoman was tossed out of Denver’s Buell Theater by security personnel in September of last year where she was attending a family-friendly performance of Beetlejuice, only to engage in some seriously not-so-family-friendly behavior — including starting arguments with other theater guests, blowing huge vape clouds, and even sexually groping all over her date who was seated beside her.
Suffice it to say, the ordeal caused quite a media storm for several days… And rightfully so, considering she is an elected public servant whose paycheck is cut out of the taxes of the people who were gullible enough to vote for her.

When the Beetlejuice incident first went public, Boebert tried like hell to deny the whole thing, with her spokeswoman issuing a public statement: “I can confirm the stunning and salacious rumors: in her personal time, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (R-CO) is indeed a supporter of the performing arts (gasp!) and, to the dismay of a select few, enthusiastically enjoyed a weekend performance of ‘Beetlejuice.'”
However, the theater kept their receipts and when cold, hard video footage of Lauren’s trashy behavior began spreading like wildfire across social media, she eventually choked out a half-ass public apology.
With her polling numbers floundering, despite her big district change, Lauren has recently taken to cracking jokes about the nasty theater incident on her campaign trail, I suppose in hopes that she will find enough of her trashy kindred spirits to carry her through to another term.
But, when it came to her recent radio interview with Denver, CO KHOW’s Dan Caplis Show Lauren seemed to skip out on the jokes and throw herself a pity party instead.
According to reporting from the Colorado Times Recorder, the scandal-plagued congresswoman used the opportunity to whine about how vilified and mistreated she is.
“As far as [opposition] research, I am very clearly an open book,” Boebert recently told the radio show. “And I can’t even go to a theater without that being, you know, broadcast to the world.”
To be frank, Lauren, I don’t think it was so much “going to a theater” that was the issue here, as much as it was the borderline handjob in front of literal children. But, hey… What do I know, right?
