Recently, we reported that the ex-wife of one of the Trump Organization’s top executives has “refused to be silenced” and is willingly cooperating with Manhattan investigators in connection to District Attorney Cyrus Vance’s brutal investigation into Donald Trump’s finances and business dealings.
Recently, Jennifer Weisselberg spoke with NBC News and said that she believes Manhattan investigators are on the search for evidence against her former father-in-law — Allen Weisselberg, the longtime chief financial officer for Donald Trump — who, reports claim, investigators are trying to flip as a witness in their investigation against the former president.
“He discusses everything with him,” Jennifer stated, “and Donald trusts him to continue the legacy the way his father set things up.”
Jennifer, a former ballet dancer, was married to Barry Weisselberg for 14 years and her ex-husband served as the longtime manager of a Trump-owned and operated ice skating rink in Central Park. She has turned over multiple documents to the Manhattan DA’s office in connection to their probe into the former president’s finances, however, she has declined to discuss any specifics surrounding the case.

“I think it’s important that I don’t compromise the investigation,” she explained.
In connection to the probe, investigators are looking into the couple’s living arrangements during the time they lived in a Central Park apartment, rent-free, for several years. Jennifer explained that the rent-free apartment was offered to them by Trump as a wedding gift when they were married in 2004.
“I wrote them a thank you note,” she revealed.
During their time in the apartment, the pair only paid somewhere around $400 a month in utility costs. The Central Park apartment was eventually sold for a staggering $2.85 million in a deal signed by Trump himself back in 2014.
But it seems there may have been more to the free apartment than just an overly kind gift to honor the couple’s nuptials.
The property gifted to the Weisselbergs was a corporate apartment owned by the Trump Organization and if the arrangements of the “gift” weren’t properly accounted for, there could be legal implications.
Jennifer said she was never overly knowledgeable about the arrangement surrounding the free apartment, but that she honestly believes it was a part of a scheme by Donald Trump to keep his employees loyal to him.
“They control people by compensating you with homes and things,” she stated. “It’s not easy to walk away when they provide your home.”
