Recently, the American people witnessed history in the making.
After literal years of waiting on bated breath to see Donald J. Trump finally held accountable to the law and his crimes — and many, many sleepless nights of truly wondering if that day would ever come — American history was made when a jury of 12 of Donald Trump’s peers delivered a guilty verdict against the former president on all 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in the Manhattan Stormy Daniels Hush Money trial, after nearly 12 hours of deliberation spread across two days.
This is the very first time, in the history of the United States of America, that a sitting or former US president has been convicted of a crime, much less multiple felony charges.
Ever since Donald’s highly tumultuous departure from the White House back in 2021, his dearest daughter Ivanka quite suddenly went from riding her daddy’s coattails everywhere she could to all but avoiding him and his scandals like the plague.

However, it seems that even Ivanka couldn’t remain quiet after her father was officially made a felon.
Ivanka still has not directly commented on her dad’s legal battles, some of which are still ongoing, nor did she directly reference his felony conviction.
But, after months of barely even mentioning his name on her socials, Ivanka took to her Instagram stories following Donald’s guilty verdict with an old photo of herself as a child sitting on her dad’s lap, along with the words “I love you dad” and a heart emoji:
While two of Ivanka’s brothers — Don Jr. and Eric — have been by their father’s side in the Manhattan courtroom throughout this trial and regularly made social media posts speaking out against the charges and the case as a whole, Ivanka didn’t set foot in Merchan’s courtroom even once and has remained largely silent about her father’s scandal.
After serving as a White House advisor to her father throughout Donald’s entire presidential term, Ivanka took a hard swerve away from her daddy and his legal woes once that term was over. Instead, her social accounts now only consist of photos of her family, vacation pictures, selfies, and public messages on holidays.
Back in 2022, Ivanka publicly confirmed that she had no intentions of returning to her father’s campaign trail or politics as a whole. However, things have begun to indicate that she may be warming to the idea again after all.
