Watch Sen. “Foghorn Leghorn” Kennedy Get Shut Down Multiple Times By Fox Host For Attacking Kamala Harris; Left Sputtering And Almost Speechless

Well, that was... Weird.

Things got weird between a notorious Republican senator and an exasperated Fox News host in a clip that’s going viral across social media after the GOP lawmaker once again proved to the world that the only thing the Right has in their arsenal against Kamala Harris is some petty, nasty name-calling and a desperate prayer.

Fox host Neil Cavuto did a satellite interview with Louisiana Senator John Kennedy — who, for reasons you’ll notice in just a moment, has long been not-as-lovingly referred to as Senator Foghorn Leghorn — from the Capitol building and it quickly went downhill, to the point that Mr. Leghorn himself was left sputtering and nearly speechless after the Fox anchor made it crystal clear that he wasn’t here for the Republican Party’s classless antics against the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.

The clip of the messy interview begins with Kennedy railing against the notion of abortion, hammering that tired old Right-wing talking point that doctors are out here aborting fully grown fetuses “at birth,” calling it a “loon wing” position for “most Americans.”

Cavuto instantly pushed back, questioning how Kennedy thought the name-calling and potshots against Harris were actually going to resonate with women voters who are quickly getting a taste of the Republican Party’s true colors.

Kennedy goes on to claim that he “doesn’t care” about Kamala Harris’ gender or race, he only cares about her “competence.”

But Cavuto was having none of it, calling the Right-wing senator out right to his face, “Then why call her a ding-dong?”

At this point, Kennedy started to sputter, shooting back, “I’m telling you what the polling shows.”

Kennedy then offered to “sit down” with the Fox host and “walk you through the polls.”

“Please do,” Cavuto responded, “because I never know when it’s constructive to call people names, Senator. On the Left or the  Right.”

“I’m sorry if it hurts your feelings,” Kennedy sputtered back, only for Cavuto to stop him in his tracks yet again, and point out that the Republican Party likely isn’t going to get very far in November by petty name-calling.

Finally, the Fox host just cut him off, leaving the senator standing there, nearly speechless, and looking like a fool.
