A few months ago, Melania Trump, the former first lady, had reportedly been working on a tell-all memoir titled Melania to be released this year. Now, as the release date draws near, Donald Trump has taken to social media to start promoted it, triggering this response on X (formerly Twitter.)

Here are some selected comments from Twitter:

Critics quickly pointed out that the Trump brand continues to find ways to profit through merchandise and ventures like this book. Melania promises to reveal never-before-seen photos and personal stories and will be available in both a standard memoir edition and a special collector’s edition.

Skyhorse Publishing will release the memoir, pricing it at $40. A signed edition will sell for $75, while the collectorā€™s editionā€”priced at $150ā€”will include exclusive photographs and a digital collectible minted on the Solana blockchain.

Since Donald Trump entered politics, many have speculated about his relationship with Melania. People often compare them to previous presidential couples, noting a perceived coldness and lack of affection. Allegations of Donald Trumpā€™s infidelity, including his affair with Stormy Daniels, which he attempted to cover up during his 2016 campaign, have only fueled this perception.

Melania has faced much criticism for standing by Donald Trump, with many questioning how she supports someone so controversial. Other members of the Trump family have also faced scrutiny, but Melaniaā€™s private life remains a mystery. Her memoir promises to shed light on her life for the first time. However, given the couple’s history of keeping personal details private, readers wonder just how much the book will actually reveal.

Amazon lists the release date as October 1st, with endorsements expected from notable MAGA figures like Kellyanne Conway, Dana Perino, Nikki Haley, and even Donald Trump. Interestingly, Donald Trump will release his own book later this year through a different publisher, further highlighting the apparent distance between them that the public has come to expect.
