Right-wingers have always loved their conspiracy theories—like, they practically collect them. But ever since Donald Trump jumped into politics, he’s turned these fringe ideas into his own chaotic brand of ideology, dragging them from the dark corners of the internet right into our political system. Now, we’ve got some of these conspiracy fans actually in Congress. Enter Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG), the queen of wild theories.


She’s not just holding on to dangerous ideas—she’s busy creating new ones, like a right-wing conspiracy factory. And now? She’s mad about fake meat. Because, naturally, anything green on a plate is bad news in her world. If it’s not bleeding, it’s probably communist or something. It would take a mental patient to tie that together with government surveillance.

Aside from the fact that he’s a liberal, MTG is targeting Bill Gates because the billionaire co-founder of Microsoft has called on wealthy countries to stop eating beef due to the environmental cost of its production. So here we are, yet again, with MTG clutching her pearls over fake meat. Sure, Gates thinks cutting back on beef could help the planet, but in Marjorie’s world, that’s just code for government mind control via cheeseburgers.
