Barack Obama, in 2008, was elected president at the relatively young age of 47. After two terms, he left office when he was just 55. Even today, despite his hair graying significantly during his time in office, Obama is relatively energetic and sprightly at age 63, making him considerably younger than both President Biden and former President Donald Trump. Out on the trail in support of Kamala Harris, Obama has been an energetic presence, even reciting the lyrics to Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” at a Michigan rally on Tuesday.
However, Trump, long Obama’s biggest hater, feels differently.
According to The Independent, Trump appeared at a rally this week and declared that Obama is “exhausted” and “looking older.”

“I’m glad they’re bringing him out. The reason they’re bringing him out – because he doesn’t even want to do it. I think he’s exhausted,” Trump said, per the report.
Trump, of course, is 78, making him 15 years older than Obama. And Trump has been canceling enough events, and behaving erratically enough at the ones he does go to, that it’s become an issue in the campaign. Both Harris and Obama have been emphasizing Trump’s exhaust and mental fitness on the campaign trail.
“If he can’t handle the rigors of the campaign trail, is he fit to do the job?” Harris said on the trail this week. Obama, in a separate speech, accused Trump of using “word salads” in a recent town hall meeting, including “swaying” to his campaign playlist for 30 minutes.
Trump has also appeared to fall asleep at campaign events.
Just hours ago, nodding off at a campaign event in Michigan. All agree Donald Trump needs to give it a rest. Not only is Trump exhausted, but he’s absolutely exhausting. pic.twitter.com/XGuUeM2Kwo

“I watched him talking. I think the guy’s exhausted,” Trump added. “And I never say a guy’s looking old. But he’s looking a little bit older, isn’t he? You know, there’s nothing wrong with that. But he’s exhausted.”
Trump also, strangely, complained that North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un disliked Obama, believing he was a “jerk.”
Dr. Ben Michaelis, a clinical psychologist, told The Independent that he believes Trump is “really not in a strong cognitive place.”
