There's a lot going on.

On election night, one of Donald Trump’s granddaughters posted a picture to social media of the Trump “family” at Mar-a-Lago, although the picture was notable for both its suspicious inclusions (Elon Musk and his son) and its exclusions (both Melania Trump and Kimberly Guilfoyle.)

Now, that same granddaughter, Kai Trump, has shared a video from that night, filling in some background of how that picture came to be.

In the video, lasting a minute and 40 seconds, we see members of the Trump family at Mar-a-Lago, watching the election returns on what appear to be four TVs, showing different networks. Trump’s son Barron is visible, and what’s notable is that he’s taller than everyone else in the room, and also that, as usual, he cannot be heard speaking.

Next, we see Donald Trump and various family members, including Don Jr. and who appear to be his children and his former wife Vanessa, lining up for a family picture, and Trump makes a joke about “dark MAGA.” After that, it’s suggested a “family shot” be taken, and Trump insists that “we have to get Elon with his boy.” Musk, while holding his son, then lines up to join the picture. Trump refers to Musk’s son as a “gorgeous, perfect boy.”

After that, Trump’s other children and grandchildren, including Eric, Ivanka, and Tiffany, join the group for another picture. At the end, Kai poses for a picture only with Trump, and then is seen playing with a small child, although it’s not clear which one. The video ends with Trump and others, once again, watching the returns on TV.

It’s not clear if the family pictures were taken before or after it was clear that Trump had won the election.

Meanwhile, while Don Jr. has been vocal about wanting to keep “war hawks” off of his father’s second-term foreign policy team, it doesn’t appear the elder Trump has been listening.
