Melania And RFK Jr. Reportedly Team Up To Tackle President-Elect’s Fast Food Obsession In Unlikely Alliance

Two people close to Trump are trying to get him to eat better.

Not long after the election, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., gave an interview on a podcast in which he talked about Trump’s diet and said critical things about it. Kennedy described Trump’s preferred foods as “just poison,” adding that it was unhealthy even by the standards of campaign food.

If anyone thought this would put Kennedy out of favor with the man he endorsed, that didn’t happen, and RFK was nominated as Secretary of Health and Human Services just days later. Not long after that, a photo surfaced of Kennedy among a group of Trump insiders eating McDonald’s on Trump’s plane- with Kennedy even taking a bite out of a Big Mac.

But now, there’s a report that Kennedy hasn’t given up on getting Trump to eat better- and has enlisted a powerful ally.

Page Six reported Friday that Kennedy and Melania Trump are “ganging up” to get Trump to change how he eats.

“RFK Jr. and Melania are ‘ganging up’ on the President-elect to eat in a more heathy way. Think fewer Big Macs and less KFC, and more lean protein, salad and veggies for energy and to improve his over all well-being,” Page Six quoted an unnamed “Trump insider” as saying.

The source added that Melania has even been cooking dinners for Trump and their son, Barron, and  “she’s also encouraging him to make healthier choices.”

However, another insider said the opposite:  “Nonsense! Trump eats whatever he wants.”

Since Trump is 78 years old and has lived the way he wants for all that time, it’s unlikely he would change things up now.

And what about that picture of Kennedy eating a Big Mac?

“They did it as a joke,” another source told Page Six. “RFK Jr. is all about healthy living and no processed foods. He hates fast food. He probably didn’t eat it.”

The story also indicated that Trump had successfully dropped some weight earlier this year by “staying away from the Mar-a-Lago desserts,” and hinted that rumors that he was taking Ozempic were not true.
