Hillary Clinton Starts Laughing In The Middle Of Trump’s Inauguration Address

If anyone knows how ridiculous Donald Trump is, it would be Hillary Clinton. She had to deal with his slings and arrows and asinine comments as his Democratic opponent during the 2016 presidential election, where she, unfortunately, lost. She was in attendance at his inauguration today, and when he announced, during his celebratory speech, that he planned to rename the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America, she busted out with a good belly laugh.

 

Bless Hillary for giving us a moment of levity during this funeral for democracy. We know how he treated her when she ran against him. During at least one of the fabled debates of that election, he interrupted her 51 times. In December 2015, during a campaign stop, where he uttered a derogatory comment about her being “schlonged” by President Barack Obama. Because that’s the kind of man he is.

“Even her race to Obama, she was gonna beat Obama,” he said at a Grand Rapids, Michigan rally. “I don’t know who would be worse, I don’t know. How does it get worse? But she was gonna beat — she was favored to win — and she got schlonged. She lost.”

He rained disgusting abuse on Clinton during the entire presidential contest, so it’s fun to see her have a good laugh at his expense, even if he’s too dumb to know it.

Folks on social media, like @the_resistor, laughed with her.

One person noted his intentions presented an excellent opportunity for the map makers.

“I suggest renaming it this,” @chan_lambda gibed:

And as noted by @Tgirl_Leila Trump can’t simply rename The Gulf of Mexico.

“I googled it, and apparently, he can’t rename the Gulf of Mexico without an international agreement,” she wrote.

Others lampooned Trump’s “priorities.”

@bradley_tindall noted Trump won’t get much of any substance done during the next four years. Judging from his first stint in office, Bradley is probably right.

For those of us who aren’t wealthy, which is most of us, this will be a tense four years. I can’t believe we have to go through this all over again.

What an awful time to be a woman, an immigrant, or anyone else who has a sense of decency.
