JD Vance Mocked After Going On Bizarre ‘Masculinity’ Rant

His whine is not so fine.

Vice President JD Vance has caused quite a stir lately. He’s made statements supporting his boss’s fascist remarks and feebly defended Russia. Then, on Thursday, he launched a rant on the “essence of masculinity” at the Conservative Political Action Conference, where he whined that men are no longer allowed to drink beer and tell jokes.

This is news since I see men drinking beer and telling jokes almost daily. But hey, what do I know? I’m just one a’ them wimmin folk, after all. You know, the other half that holds up the sky. The other half whose rights are being trashed by Republicans.

Nevertheless, Vance was boohooing about men’s suffering, and we can assume he’s talking about the white men who have no gin in this particular game. Even if they think they do. According to @Acyn, Vance was all “When I think about what is the essence of masculinity, we could answer this in so many different ways, when I think about me and my guy friends, we really like to tell jokes to one another.”

Well his boss, President Donald Trump is the biggest political joke there is, and folks on social media had their own opinions of his speech.

@JohnnyAkzam retorted:

“Yup…that’s what makes a man a man. Being an immature asshat that doesn’t really take anything seriously and makes a joke out of other people’s suffering.”

Then there’s Alexarenee1, who wrote:

“When I think of masculinity I think of my hard working husband who treats everyone with respect. Women love him because he is supportive of what they bring to the table and does not feel threatened by them. He treats women as his equal in every single way. He thinks men who mistreat women are pussy ass insecure bitches.”

@DenisonBarbs posted:

“A guy that wears eyeliner is giving me a lecture on masculinity? Got it!”

And @JoJoFromJerz popped in with one of her typically funny and astringent barbs:

“We like to tell jokes to one another?”

“He’s better at ordering donuts than he is at making us believe he has friends.”

@leoknyc777 wondered:

“WTF is MAGA’s obsession with masculinity? Can someone explain it? Why do they constantly need affirmation that they’re masculine Lolol? I’ve been around a long time and since Trump came on the scene I’ve never seen so many insecure guys in politics or anywhere else for that matter with this obsession to prove how manly they are.”

@Logically_JC wrote something that I think, is particularly perceptive and correct:

“Imagine just being comfortable with who you are, instead of constantly over-analyzing it.”

This is a lesson Republicans have not learned. Especially if they are religious. They think they have God on their side and they are so fully convinced of this that they want to bludgeon everyone else with their radical views. If you don’t fit inside their narrow-minded views they will punish you. If you’re LGBTQ, or are friends with anyone who’s LGBTQ, if you’re Black, if you’re atheist, if you’re a woman who isn’t religious they will punish you if they have the chance.

What this basically means is you’re going to face their damnation if you’re not a white male. And we’re tired of their jokes.
