On Thursday, Vice President J.D. Vance appeared at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), where he gave a somewhat widely mocked speech.
In the speech, Vance ripped our “culture,” which he claimed “sends a message to young men that you should suppress every masculine urge.”
“My message to young men is don’t allow this broken culture to send you a message that you’re a bad person because you’re a man because you like to tell a joke, because you like to have a beer with your friends, or because you’re competitive,” the vice president added.

Another thing was noted about Vance’s speech on Thursday: The uncommonly short pants that he was wearing when he gave it and how visible it was because he was seated onstage.
The popular X account known as the “Menswear Guy,” who often critiques the clothing choices of famous people, noted that Vance’s pants were too high.
“The second lady should advise him to get wider pants and over the calf socks so that his bare leg doesn’t show when he sits down,” Derek Guy said on X. “men unfamiliar with tailored clothing may not be used to these socks. they will make you feel like a sexy cabaret dancer. you can get them from marcoliani, bresciani, sozzi, and dapper classics.”
