President Donald Trump went full rant mode at the end of his first Cabinet meeting, blaming former President Joe Biden for everything except the asteroid that may hit the Earth in 2032. Claiming “The country has gotten bloated, fat, and disgusting,” Trump showed support for what his buddy, Elon Musk, is doing to everyday Americans, according to Mediaite.
But when a reporter, referring to the mass firings of federal workers, asked, “You mentioned you’re interested in doing another round of this email. When would you like to see that? What would be the deadline? And this time would it be mandatory?” Trump blew a gasket.
He started out calmly, but the blast came soon enough.
“I think Elon wants to and I think it’s a good idea because, you know, those people, as I said before, they’re on the bubble,” Trump said.”You got a lot of people that have not responded. So we’re trying to figure out — Do they exist? Who are they? And it’s possible that a lot of those people will be actually fired. And if that happened, that’s okay because that’s what we’re trying to do,” Real Clear Politics reports.

“This country has gotten bloated and fat and disgusting and incompetently run. I think we had the worst president in the history of our country. He just left office. I think he’s a disgrace.”
“What he’s done to our country by allowing millions of people to come into our country like that, and all of the other things—the inflation, which he caused because of energy and stupid spending. To spend hundreds of millions, trillions and trillions of dollars on the green new scam. A total scam. I have the best energy people, the best environmental people in the world are around this table, and can’t even believe he got away with it.”
“And then, leaving office, he sends $20 billion here and $20 million there. $10 million, $5 million, $1 million. They couldn’t spend the money fast enough. “Let’s get it out before Trump gets in. Let’s just get it to anybody.”
“And this is a disgrace to our nation. And you don’t write the fair thing. But look, you know, the good news is that people see it. And that’s why we won the election by so much.”
That last sentence is a lie. According to the Council on Foreign Relations, Trump won 77,284,118 votes or 49.8 percent of the votes cast for president. Former Vice President Kamala Harris was not far behind, with 74,999,166 votes or 48.3 percent of the votes cast. In other words, Trump didn’t win by “so much.”
If this man is breathing, he’s lying. Perhaps he thinks if a lie is told often enough, it will become the truth. Who knows? I really don’t understand how people could vote for this vile man, but he’s apparently bamboozled enough people who actually did.
And maybe, just maybe, the people who voted for him are feeling the bite. Trump is taking an axe to many of the programs these people depend on. Programs like Medicaid are being cut, and this is ironic. While 82 percent of voters are opposed to the cuts, and 71 percent of those voters are (or perhaps were) Trump supporters, according to a poll conducted by Hart Research, per The Hill.
So, Trump supporters, I hope you’re happy. We’re all paying for what you wished for.
