Donald Trump likes to brag about the first-class and top-notch quality of his golf courses, often exaggerating their quality, as author Rick Reilly pointed out in “Commander-in-Cheat,” his book about Trump and golf, published during the president’s first term.
However, one of Trump’s courses has now received poor marks from the health inspector.
According to The Daily Beast, which cited a government report, Trump’s National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., where he spends a significant amount of time in the summer, has received “a whopping 18 health violations and the lowest grade in the county.”

The course received “32 out of 100 from the Somerset County Department of Health,” the report said. Overall, 18 violations were found, which was the lowest score of any of the more than 100 establishments in that county that were inspected that month.

The report also found that the person who is running the food and beverage services at the club “fails to demonstrate knowledge of food safety.”
Also, a “household microwave” was spotted in a kitchen, and it ” “Must be removed. Only commercial grade equipment allowed in Retail food establishment.”
Bedminster also fell short in terms of hand-washing.

“When it came to hand-washing, the club was cited on four points, including sinks without soap or paper towels, one missing a required hand-washing sign, and another sink being used to store a sanitizer bucket,” The Daily Beast said.
The club received a “conditionally satisfactory” C grade, according to NJ.com’s report on the inspection. NJ.com also cited the inspector’s report, which found that “a dishwasher on site was also found only to reach 170 degrees, ten degrees less than the required final rinse temperature for the device.”
