Trump Slammed For Allegedly ‘Hiding On Golf Course’ As Death Toll For Texas Flood Continues To Rise

This is shameful leadership

So, where was the president while all this was happening?

According to his public schedule, Trump spent the weekend at his Bedminster golf course. He was set to leave the club around 5 p.m. on Sunday, just hours after more bodies were recovered.

Trump has made no official trip to Texas. He has not visited the scene. He has not stood with victims or families. He only posted a short message on Truth Social, offering prayers. But prayers without presence feel hollow.

One man on social media wrote, “Trump is partially responsible for what happened due to his cuts to related government agencies. Even Texas officials are saying it. And instead of visiting Texas, he’s off playing golf. That’s how much he cares.”

Another user added, “Trump is hiding on his golf course while there’s a disaster in Central Texas.”

A third asked the hard question: “Did Trump express his devotion to Texas before, during or after he played golf?”

That anger boiled over as more reports came in from Kerr County, where floodwaters rose 26 feet in just 45 minutes. 5 girls from Camp Mystic have been confirmed dead—Lila Bonner, Eloise Peck, Janie Hunt, Renee Smajstrla, and Sarah Marsh. They were best friends. Now their families are left to mourn, while the president spends yet another weekend away.

One furious user posted: “20+ INNOCENT CHILDREN WERE SWEPT AWAY IN A FLASH FLOOD IN TEXAS — WHERE WAS AMERICAS PRESIDENT.”

Another wrote, “Tragic news coming from Texas this morning. 43 bodies recovered from the flash floods, 15 of which are children and they haven’t stopped searching. While all that was happening, Trump was dancing on a balcony at the White House and is now playing golf.”

Trump has spent 38 of his 167 days in office golfing. That is nearly one quarter of his presidency. And it is starting to show. The public is noticing. The White House isn’t speaking and that silence says it all.
