After the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday about a risque birthday poem Donald Trump wrote to Jeffrey Epstein in the early 2000s, leading Trump to sue the newspaper, its parent company, and the reporters, there has been speculation that there might be more Trump/Epstein bombshells to come.

A new social media post from First Lady Melania Trump has sparked considerable speculation of that variety.

The First Lady posted an excerpt from her memoir on Friday, which was published last October. It includes two pages of Melania telling the story of how she first met her husband in 1998, at an establishment called the Kit Kat Klub, during New York Fashion Week.

The pinned post on the first lady’s personal X account still features the “trailer” for her book, more than eight months after it was published.

Nevertheless, why would she post that excerpt at this particular moment? Social media users speculated that it could be getting ahead of further reporting related to Epstein. Especially since Trump and Epstein were actively friends during the period when she and Trump met. Furthermore, Epstein claimed, in 2017 interviews with journalist Michael Wolff, that Trump and Melania first had intimate relations on Epstein’s plane. Also, both Donald Trump’s and Melania’s phone numbers were reportedly included in Epstein’s address book.
