Trump walked out of the Alaska summit looking weak. Putin spoke first, bragged about progress, and left with the photo he wanted. Trump called it “extremely productive” but admitted, “There’s no deal until there’s a deal.”

Former adviser John Bolton said Putin clearly came out on top. “Trump did not lose but Putin clearly won,” he told CNN, adding that Trump “looked very tired up there.”

Newsom pounced on that weakness with a brutal post on X.

“TRUMP JUST FLED THE PODIUM WITH PUTIN — NO QUESTIONS, NOTHING! TOTAL LOW ENERGY. THE MAN LOOKED LIKE HE’D JUST EATEN 3 BUCKETS OF KFC WITH VLAD.”

The post went viral and X users called it “so damn good.”

MSNBC host Jen Psaki also said the day was a “big victory” for Putin. She pointed out that Putin has been isolated from the world for years but was now welcomed back on U.S. soil.

Fox News correspondent Jacqui Heinrich admitted Putin “steamrolled” Trump. “It did not seem like things went well. It seemed like Putin got right into what he wanted to say and then left,” she said.

Michael McFaul, the former U.S. ambassador to Russia, said the outcome was bad for both Ukraine and America. “America has always been the leader of the free world. It certainly didn’t feel that way tonight.”

Trump still told Sean Hannity the meeting was a “10 out of 10.” He even said he might accept Putin’s offer to meet again in Moscow. “That’s an interesting one, I’ll get a little heat on that one. But I could see it possibly happening.”

Fox host Laura Ingraham defended Trump, calling it “a step forward.” But other analysts like NewsNation’s Leland Vittert said Putin “did everything to ingratiate himself” while still dominating.
