When JD Vance visited Scotland last week, a group of activists there followed him around with a likeness of the “bald baby JD Vance” meme.”
Over the weekend, an activist group in Philadelphia planned a similar event.
FUBAR PAC, a group perhaps best known for smashing a Tesla earlier this year in protest of Elon Musk, has now taken an anti-Vance action.
“We had an entirely stupid idea,” the group’s leader, Jack Inacker, said on X, of the plan to paint a mural in Philadelphia of the Vance meme in Philadelphia:

According to an article in PhillyVoice, FUBAR PAC is “a Democratic group working to win back the House of Representatives in 2026.”
“Look, we are a city of murals in Philadelphia,” Inacker, the founder and executive director of FUBAR PAC, told the publication. “We have beautiful ones across the city. I wanted to add to that tapestry with something incredibly silly, while at the same time, being able to reach people and say, ‘hey, these people are doing real harm to you, your family, and the world.'”
“You can poke fun and laugh at these people and their terrible actions at the same time as bringing attention to them,” he added. “I think people are so burnt out hearing the daily slog of how bad things are, and they are very bad. This administration has moved lightning quick to institute terrible, draconian policies that are hurting not only people in Pennsylvania, but also in Philadelphia. You see the consequences worldwide.”
The mural was painted on Friday, in the city’s Fishtown section, and was mostly completed by then:
We brought this up in our TikTok, but a HUGE thank you to Sulimay’s Restaurant here in Fishtown (632 E Girard Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19125) for letting us use their wall.
They’re open daily for breakfast and lunch, and have amazing Scrapple. Follow them on insta:https://t.co/lEZkIgyBtW pic.twitter.com/AcpXsUtPGF

It’s not clear if Vance is personally bothered by the meme depicting him as bald, although he was a good sport about South Park making fun of him two weeks ago. It’s also unclear if Vance has any plans shortly to visit Philadelphia, where he could see the mural.
