Fox News Reporter Fact-Checks Trump’s Lie About UK’s Health System

I bet he gets extra mad when it comes from Fox News.

So far, Trump has spent the beginning of his NATO trip doing precisely what we’ve all expected — launching nasty attacks, embarrassing himself and by default our entire country in front of his fellow world leaders, cracking tasteless jokes, and lying his rotund ass off.

During a press conference this morning, the subject of the United Kingdom’s National Health Service (NHS) came up as it’s become a front running campaign issue given the UK’s impending election — with accusations against Conservative Prime Minister Boris Johnson by Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn, claiming that Johnson has been scheming to sell off parts of the UK’s health service to health care firms in America.

While participating in a press conference this morning, Trump was quick to deny any involvement in the UK’s healthcare scandal, claiming that he wanted nothing to do with the NHS and he was completely baffled as to where the rumors alleging that he was looking to put the NHS up for sale in connection to a trade deal between the US and UK originated.

But, as often happens when Donald opens his mouth, he was quickly busted on his falsehoods and reminded precisely where those rumors did originate from — him.

As reported by Mediate, the White House correspondent for Trump’s very own beloved Fox News, John Roberts, was quick to take to his Twitter account to bust America’s president for once again attempting to rewrite history and simply pretend he never said something.

“Trump said today he doesn’t know where the rumor came from that Britain’s National Health Service would be on the table in a new trade deal with the U.K.,” Roberts’ tweet read, coming on the heels of Donald’s press conference this morning. “It came from his press conference with Theresa May on June 4, 2019.”

The Fox News reporter then went on to directly quote Trump from the offending press conference with the former Britsh Prime Minister: “When you’re dealing in trade everything is on the table. So NHS or anything else, a lot more than that, but everything will be on the table, absolutely.”

It’s safe to say that the president who has the self-proclaimed “best memory” suddenly isn’t so sharp anymore when it comes to ridiculous things he’s said, shitty things he’s done, and friends of his who knew Jeffrey Epstein.
