Trump Issues Threat If There Are Riots If He Wins In November: “Put Them Down Very Quickly… Just Send In And We Do It Very Easy”

Donald Trump issued a threat on Thursday to “put … down very quickly” any rioters on election night if Democrats take to the streets in the wake of the president’s potential victory. And it’s odd coming from a man that claims he is trying to maintain “calm” amid the national crises. Trump was talking to Fox News host Jeanine Pirro in an interview set to air on Saturday.  Pirro asked Trump how he would respond to incidents of rioting should he win reelection in November.

“We’ll put them down very quickly if they do that,” Trump said. “We have the right to do that. We have the power to do that if we want. Look, it’s called insurrection. We just send in, and we do it very easy. I mean, it’s very easy. I’d rather not do that because there’s no reason for it, but if we had to, we’d do that and put it down within minutes.”

Watch:

Trump isn’t talking about rioters, though. In an incident that will go down in history books, Trump allowed police officers and National Guard troops to fire rubber bullets and deploy flash-bang grenades on peaceful protesters around Lafayette Square outside the White House just last June — and he did that so that he could stage a photo-op of himself holding a Bible.

Trump has repeatedly lashed out at protesters, but he’s never condemned the Proud Boys or Kyle Rittenhouse — the latter is accused of killing two anti-racist protesters and injuring another. Trump completely mishandled the protests that took place after police officers murdered George Floyd. Instead, this president throws gasoline on the fire, then blames the people who got burned.

Obviously, one hundred and ninety-one thousand dead Americans aren’t enough for our narcissistic president. The president of the United States just threatened to kill more American citizens.
