What an absolute clown.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) has challenged Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) to a debate multiple times on Twitter. Most recently, she asked the New York Democrat to debate her as they chatted on the House floor. Greene constantly seeks attention, and for her part, AOC has refused to acknowledge her tweets. AOC is a wildly popular Progressive Democrat with a huge Twitter following. In contrast, Greene was recently stripped of her committee assignments following a backlash over her past incendiary comments and apparent support of violence against Democrats. As for Twitter, Greene is seen as a troll. She’s just not a serious member of Congress.

While speaking at the America First Rally on Saturday at the Indian River County Fairgrounds in Florida, Greene told of the conversation she had with AOC in the House chamber about having a debate on television over the contents of the Green New Deal, which, according to Greene, it will destroy the U.S. economy. Greene touted her business experience with her family’s company, but that seems suspect. The Atlantic Journal-Constitution notes that “there’s little evidence of her involvement in the company’s operations.”

Greene then appeared to mockingly impersonate Ocasio-Cortez, who she claims has “no clue” what she’s talking about because she hasn’t owned a business, The Week reports. The crowd certainly seemed to enjoy Greene’s attempt at trolling of AOC.

Watch:

That didn’t go down well on Twitter.

Ocasio-Cortez attended Boston University, where she double-majored in international relations and economics, graduating cum laude, so I’m pretty sure she would wipe the floor with Greene. However, I’m sure AOC is too busy working on her committee assignments to debate that clown.
