British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, the former girlfriend and accomplice to sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, was found guilty on five of the six federal charges that she faced. So, it’s likely that Maxwell, 60, will not get out of prison — ever. According to Colby Hall at Mediaite, Maxwell has ended her battle to keep the John Doe names sealed. And some influential people might be exposed.
Virginia Giuffre requested to unseal documents that name names in her since-settled civil lawsuit against Ghislaine Maxwell. Giuffre is suing Prince Andrew in a civil case in New York that claims that she was forced to have sex with Jeffrey Epstein’s friends, including the Duke of York, when she was 17-years-old. Giuffre also filed a lawsuit against Alan Dershowitz, and he countersued her.
“In a legal brief filed on Wednesday, Giuffre requested that the judge unseal the names of the John Does currently kept out of the public eye, in part due to their complaints of how disruptive the media attention would be to their lives,” Mediaite reports.
“Upon review of the objections of those Does, it is apparent that their objections essentially mirror objections to unsealing that this Court has already rejected,” Giuffre’s lawyer wrote.

There are a lot of John Does.
“Maxwell has previously fought the unsealing of the legal names of the John Does revealed in the still-sealed court documents, but a letter from her lawyer dated January 12th notes that Maxwell “does not wish to further address” detailed objections submitted by Non-Party Does 17, 53, 54, 55, 73, 93, and 151,” the report continues.
A few powerful men are about to go through some things.
Virginia Giuffre’s attorney to judge:
“Now that Maxwell’s criminal trial has come and gone, there is little reason to retain protection over the vast swaths of information about Epstein and Maxwell’s sex-trafficking operation that were originally filed under seal in this case.” pic.twitter.com/aTNlj1KS5u

Unsealing the John Doe names is now left up to Judge Loretta Preska, who presides over the case. I think our readers can agree that anyone, no matter which side of the aisle they sit on that is caught up in Epstein’s child trafficking scandal, should be held accountable.
