You would be hard-pressed to find someone in this country, no matter what side of the political fence they dwell on, that is unfamiliar with the infamous phone call Donald Trump made to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger in the direct aftermath of his brutal 2020 presidential election loss to Joe Biden. It was during that notorious phone call, which Trump has repeatedly referred to as a “perfect call,” that the then-outgoing President of the United States all but demanded that the GA state official “find” the nearly 12,000 votes Trump needed to overthrow Joe Biden’s victory in the southern swing state.
However, according to bombshell new reporting from The Atlanta Journal-Constitution featuring a deep-dive inside the ongoing Georgia grand jury investigation, the infamous Raffensperger call wasn’t actually the only phone call Trump made to an official in the Peach State, desperate to overturn his humiliating election loss.
According to information obtained and reported on by the local publication, Donald Trump, while still serving as the US president, also made a call to the now-late Georgia House Speaker David Ralston, in which scandal-ridden Trump desperately tried to convince the state official to convene a special legislative session with the purpose of throwing out Joe Biden’s already certified election victory.
To make matters even more interesting, one juror who spoke with the Atlanta Journal said they found themselves highly impressed by Ralston, who pretty much shut Trump down as soon as he got started.

“[Ralston] basically cut the president off,” the juror told the local publication. “He said, ‘I will do everything in my power that I think is appropriate.’ … He just basically took the wind out of the sails.”
As we’re all painfully aware, Donald Trump’s truly unhinged, pathetically desperate, manic attempt to save himself in the 2020 presidential election ultimately hit a horrifying fever pitch and resulted in a deranged plot to have his Vice President Mike Pence throw out the certified Electoral College votes and send the election back to Republican-controlled state legislatures who would reinstall Trump to another 4 years of largely unchecked power.
Pence ultimately refused to go along with Donald Trump’s plot, which left his boss so deeply enraged and desperate that he incited a mod of his angriest, most violent supporters to storm the Capitol building, with Congress and his own VP inside, in a last-ditch effort to stop the Electoral count and certification — resulting in lawmakers being forced to flee for their lives, as his supporters openly called for Mike Pence to be hanged.
