Today, Georgia’s far-Right Republican House Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene participated in a House Homeland Security Committee hearing in Texas, where she openly blurted out what one border patrol official said could have been highly-classified government intelligence and information regarding explosives that were reportedly found at or near the US southern border.
During the hearing, Congresswoman Greene attempted to make a dramatic spectacle out of confronting U.S. Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz regarding the alleged incident involving explosives at the border.

“Chief Ortiz, are you aware that there was an explosive device found by Border Patrol agents on January 17th in an area called No Man’s Land, and there’s surveillance of who put it there?” Greene questioned in front of the entire room. “And guess what? It wasn’t Americans; it was cartels. Are you aware of that?”
Ortez not only declined to comment on or even acknowledge the incident, but took it a step further still when he pointed out that Marjorie Taylor Greene was openly divulging what could very likely be classified government intel to a room full of people and average American citizens who were watching with absolutely no security clearance to allow them access to such knowledge or information.
“I will tell you that some of this information that I receive, I receive in a confidential [sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF)], so I’m going to be a little hesitant of briefing what I know and what I don’t know with respect to some of those, an event like that,” the border official calmly explained to Greene.
“I understand, Chief Ortiz, but I’m not going to be confidential because I think people deserve to know,” Marjorie shamelessly shot back. “Our Border Patrol agents should not be in those type of conditions where they are at risk of being blown to pieces by the cartels, who, by the way, are criminals, and they should be treated as such.”
She went on to brag, “As a matter of fact, I’ve co-sponsored legislation to declare war on the cartels because they are definitely declaring war on us, the American people, and our Border Patrol agents, and I’ve had enough of it, and I know Americans have had enough of it.”
This right here is why Americans with even a shred of common sense are terrified to see this woman with any semblance of power to her name. She’s putting every single one of us at risk, every single day.
