A Former Aide Said “Dangerous Creature” Donald Trump “Cracked And Began To Lose His Mind” During White House Isolation

Trump's mental health is in worse shape than we EVER could have imagined.

During the Christmas holiday, New York Magazine correspondent Olivia Nuzzi penned a brutally scathing report that detailed the sad, pathetic, aimless, and lonely life that former President Donald Trump is now living at his equally scandal-ridden Palm Beach golf resort in the days, weeks, months, and years post his tumultuous presidency and humiliating election loss.

Nuzzi, who interviewed the ex-president at his Mar-a-Lago home turned post-White House personal residence for this particular piece, described Trump as aimless, with little direction in life, barely ever even venturing outside the confines of his Palm Beach compound, despite his recent 2024 presidential campaign launch announcement. The journalist even quoted one Trump insider as saying, “He just goes, plays golf, comes back, and f*cks off. He has retreated to the golf course and to Mar-a-Lago,” before going on to admit, “His world has gotten much smaller. His world is so, so small.”

Following the release of her brutal report, Nuzzi was invited to an appearance on CNN This Morning to further elaborate on more revelations about the state of Donald Trump’s mind — especially when he feels isolated and alone — including a revelation from a former White House adviser to Donald Trump, who told Nuzzi that Trump quite literally “cracked” during the period of almost complete isolation he was subjected to inside the White House during his bout with a severe case of COVID-19.

Nuzzi’s appearance began with her theory that Donald Trump’s current isolation within the confines of Mar-a-Lago has only served to make a dangerous man that much more perilous and destructive. At that point, she went on to reveal that a former Trump aide told her that they witnesses something very similar out of Trump during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“If he’s lost his mojo in some way, I don’t know,” Nuzzi said of Trump’s struggling 2024 campaign launch. “I think Donald Trump, when he’s cooped up, when he’s got his wings clipped, historically is kind of a dangerous creature who is prone to listening to even crazier ideas than normal and doing even crazier things.”

She went on to add, “One former White House official talking in this piece about before the insurrection, before he officially lost the campaign in 2020, already he had become this sort of terrifying figure who in his Covid isolation in the White House — kind of locked away and kept from having contact with regular Americans or just with more normal people who might be around him in a busy place like the West Wing — he really had cracked and began to lose his mind and this person began to move further and further away from him.”

Later on in the segment, Nuzzi went on to touch on the topic of Trump’s apparent pause in campaign rallies, stating, “He isn’t all that busy and the midterms are over. There isn’t a lot of justification for a MAGA rally at this point — he’s stuck there. He’s at Mar-a-Lago and playing golf and people are coming to see him. I don’t think he really knows what to do with himself in this sort of lame-duck period as the only candidate and he’s running against himself.”
