Life has only served to get more and more tumultuous for ex-President Donald Trump since his departure from the White House in a cloud of humiliation and shame.
For the past year+, starting pretty much the moment the Trump crew packed their final box, every entity from here to Kalamazoo, it seemed, came for the one-term, twice-impeached former guy, full steam ahead. Trump has spent his first 12+ months as an average American citizen once again, getting hammered left and right with just about every conceivable lawsuit and investigation you can think of for all of the numerous crimes and schemes he committed while hiding behind the power and protection of the presidency. That very power and protection are long gone now, and there’s no end in sight when it comes to those who are coming for Trump. In fact, it just gets worse and worse for the guy every single day, and rightfully so.
Of the many investigations that are currently raging against the former president is the DC Attorney General’s office’s investigation into alleged misuse of inaugural funds by Trump and his campaign — a scandal that Trump and his people largely attempted to dump the blame for at the feet of Melania’s old BFF, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff.
DC Attorney General Karl Racine announced:
Big news: The judge added the Trump Org in NY back into our lawsuit against the Presidential Inaugural Committee. Our lawsuit is moving forward fully intact & full steam ahead. We sued the inaugural committee for misusing funds to enrich the Trump family. Now we’re going to trial.”

But it gets even better.
Melania’s former close friend, Winston Wolkoff, retweeted AG Racine’s big announcement with a big announcement of her own, ultimately revealing that she is, in fact, the lead witness in this case against the ex-president and confirmed that the case will be going to trial.
“Breaking Big News!” Winston Wolkoff wrote in the caption of her retweet. “I’m the lead witness and the case is going to trial.”

I’ve got news for Donald Trump. I’m well aware that he’s grown very accustomed to getting away with just about everything short of murder. But your time is running out, sir. They are not going to let up.
