Legal experts are calling out the scandal-plagued former president, as it appears Donald J. Trump has committed yet another felony crime — this time in the form of blatant, public witness tampering.
There’s no denying at this point that Trump has a lot going on right now. Frankly, the criminal charges and indictments are falling on his head from every direction and there’s no end in sight.
Recently, it seemed the former guy took a small break from railing against Special Counsel Jack Smith as he turned his attention to a different mounting legal problem — Fulton County Attorney General Fani Willis’ impending indictment.
At the time, Willis was calling in her final round of key witnesses in her election tampering case against the disgraced ex-president, as the GA grand jury was expected to complete their work in a matter of days. Multiple reports at the time confirmed that a new round of criminal charges against Donald Trump was expected as Fani Willis’ investigation came to a close.
Suffice it to say, Donald Trump did not handle it well.

The former president spent his recent morning launching relentless, disgusting attacks not only against the Fulton County District Attorney, but also witnesses in the case — a move that is almost undeniably straight-up witness tampering.
More specifically, Trump seemingly set his sights on one star witness in particular — former Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan — whose first name Donald absolutely butchered in his spelling as he flat-out urged the key witness not to testify in the election tampering case.
Taking to his Truth Social platform, Trump wrote:
I am reading reports that failed former Lt. Governor of Georgia, Jeff Duncan, will be testifying before the Fulton County Grand Jury. I barely know him but he was, right from the beginning of this Witch Hunt, a nasty disaster for those looking into the Election Fraud that took place in Georgia. He refused having a Special Session to find out what went on, became very unpopular with Republicans (I refused to endorse him!), and fought the TRUTH all the way. A loser, he went to FNCNN!”
Multiple experts and reporters weighed in on this damning development:

Trump needs to be behind bars without access to social media while he awaits trial. This is attempted witness intimidation. https://t.co/JYe0ClHaFP

Trump is now explicitly telling a witness slated to testify Tuesday that he shouldn’t testify. pic.twitter.com/kz8rGe0dxp

Trump is flirting with a new witness tampering charge in Georgia, but he didn’t “explicitly” tell Duncan not to testify.
Trump said Duncan “shouldn’t” testify, apparently bc Trump thinks Duncan shouldn’t want to reprise his supposed failure to discover “the Election Fraud.” https://t.co/zVMjJKX5fp

Notable: In this post, Trump doesn’t say that Duncan should testify in support of something Trump claims to be true, or that Duncan should testify against something Trump claims to be false.
He says Duncan shouldn’t testify at all. It’s purely an exhortation not to cooperate.

He is now taunting grand jury witnesses in Georgia. Just begging for trouble from whatever judge gets assigned that case if, as expected, Willis indicts him tomorrow. pic.twitter.com/vwh7sBBJES

Which of Trump’s Truths *aren’t* witness intimidation these days? I guess the ones that are jury tampering.

He can’t keep getting away with this…
