Don Jr. Teases At His Own Presidential Run After Showing Up Two Hours Late To Event, With Only A Handful Of People Left In The Audience To Hear His Nonsense

Trump’s eldest son and namesake, Don Jr., was trying really hard to help campaign for his dear old dad ahead of the crucial Iowa caucus on Monday. But let’s just say, this certainly didn’t turn out to be the time that Junior didn’t let his daddy down — as the former first son showed up to his event a whopping two hours late, after almost everyone had already given up and left, leaving less than two rows of pathetic people left to hear what he had to say.

Junior’s disastrous Ankeny, Iowa event was reported on by Forbes reporter Sarah Müller, who took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and explained that, at 2 p.m., around the time Junior’s event was supposed to kick off, the place was pretty packed. However, it seems Iowa caucus voters weren’t keen on waiting around for the president’s son as he failed to show up a staggering two hours into the “event,” and folks eventually started filing out the door.

Müller noted that Don Jr. cited “weather complications” as the reason for his serious delay.

Eventually, the former president’s son did show up, to just a handful of people left in the first two rows of seating, and decided to give his big speech to whomever was left to hear it.

As if his tardiness weren’t bad enough, the contents of Junior’s speech were undeniably worse.

The Guardian’s David Smith reported from the ground, noting Junior’s rant about how the U.K. will “throw you in jail for two years for misgendering someone.”

At one point during his speech, a person in the pathetically small audience asked Trump Jr. if he believed his father was “anointed by God.”

“That’s not for me to decide. There’s a higher power that decides that,” the former president’s namesake answered.

The worst part of all, though, was when one member of the audience asked Don Jr. if he would possibly make his own presidential run in 2028.

“I don’t want to say no,” Junior responded, leaving us with chills down our collective spines.
